The Vision of the Harmony Institute of Peace is to foster a peaceful, democratic, and prosperous Somali society.

 

Through promoting dialogue, enhancing civic engagement, and strengthening institutions, HIP envisions a future where conflict is mitigated through informed policy, active community participation, and a robust justice system.

Our Mission

The Mission of the Harmony Institute of Peace is to engage in rigorous research, analysis, and field engagement to address and mitigate the roots of conflict and violence in Somalia.

 

Through fostering collaborations among government, civil society, and international partners, HIP endeavors to strengthen the capacities of individuals and institutions in promoting peace, justice, and sustainable development.

 

By providing education, training, and resourceful insights, the Institute aims to empower communities to actively participate in democratic processes and peacebuilding initiatives, thereby contributing to a stable and thriving Somali society.
